"Faith is permitting ourselves to be seized by the things we do not see."

—Martin Luther

Lutheran Pastor's Fund

The Lutheran Pastor's Fund is a grant available exclusively to Lutheran pastors, who can refer their church members to Lutheran Social Services of Indiana (LSSI) for financial assistance.

Stained glass window with Martin Luther LSSI recognizes that in many cases Lutheran pastors and their church staff are not trained social workers and have limited resources to assist members in financial need. LSSI is able to handle these parish needs professionally in a caring and Christian manner through the financial support of The Lutheran Foundation.

The Lutheran Foundation is a public charity that represents 96 Lutheran congregations located throughout Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, and Whitley counties.
