Family Service Programs
Healthy Families
Healthy families is a coordinated interagency effort that identifies families at risk for child abuse and neglect. LSSI provides early identification by screening parents of new babies in the hospital. Families at risk are then referred to other community agencies for additional services.

Children's Village Early Learning Center
The primary focus of LSSI Children's Village Early Learning Center is to provide quality childcare at affordable rates for families with low incomes in order to assist them in their pursuit of self-sufficiency. We offer care and supervision for children between the ages of six months and five. Our licensed facility provides recreational, social, educational, and specialized activities for participating children. Located at 6613 South Anthony, Fort Wayne, IN. 46816

New Adventures Early Learning Center

Emergency Assistance
When public, tax-supported help is inadequate or unavailable, emergency assistance provides qualified individuals and families with direct assistance for utilities, rent or other life necessities. Case management services are also provided for those who are experiencing financial crisis. Funded through area churches, Cup of Kindness, Justice Bread, The Lutheran Foundation, EFSP and the United Way of Allen County.
